**Description:**The Sub-acute Registered Nurse Program at Cleveland Clinic Martin Health is a comprehensive program developed for experienced nurses who are new to the acute care setting or are re-entering the workforce.The program invests in the development of the sub-acute nurse through utilization of clinical resources, simulation based learning, hands-on training, preceptorship, e-learning, and mentorship from the Clinical Education and Clinical Development Department.The Sub-acute Nurse has shift accountability and responsibility for providing exceptional and compassionate nursing care to an assigned group of patients and their families within Cleveland Clinic Martin Health. As a member of the Nursing Department, the Sub-acute Nurse collaborates within an inter-professional team to execute the corporate goals and objectives of Cleveland Clinic Martin Health. The sub-acute registered nurse will ensure ongoing professional growth and development through education and mentorship.The Staff Nurse, Patient Services must have graduated from an accredited nursing program, with:> Bachelor's Degree with a Major in Nursing, preferred.> Current/Active State of FL RN License required - primary source online verification required directly from State of Florida Licensing database.> Current acceptable CPR certification required: American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Health Care Provider OR American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer; ACLS, PALS, NRP certification as applicable.The policy of Cleveland Clinic and its system hospitals (Cleveland Clinic) is to provide equal opportunity to all of our employees and applicants for employment in our tobacco free and drug free environment.
